Be thrilled by this guided walk along Gosport High Street, listening to stories about slavery, ghosts, suicide, baby farming, poisoning, and under-the-counter Victorian photography! This event is for over 18’s only.
Your guide will tell you about key buildings in the High Street and surrounding area, and discover the more sordid and disreputable events that took place here in days gone by. You’ll view photos along the way to enhance your experience, and even see some original Victorian naughty photographs.
Please meet your Guide, 10 minutes before the start time.

Access
Walk on public pathways, with some rest points along the route. Accessible and other parking close by in the South Street car park. Changing Places facilities and other accessible toilets are available close by at Gosport Discovery Centre and Gosport Museum and Art Gallery.
Additional Information
Meet your guide 10 minutes before start time. This is not a cyclical route. The will end by Ferry, a 5-minute walk back to the meeting point. Dogs on leads are welcome. If a hot day, you might like to bring a drink, wear a hat.
